Our mission is to perform real estate brokerage services in a manner that clearly distinguishes us as the benchmark for excellence and to create an environment of trust, respect, responsibility and professionalism for our customers and agents.
After traveling the world and running a business grossing more than $3 million a year, or after managing a non-profit and then going on to become one of the country's top 1% of realtors, what would you do next? If you're MaryEllen Shuman or Barbra Andretti, you open your own realty company in downtown Easton. Opening its doors at 245-247 Northampton Street on November 7, EXIT Fast Track Realty, a joint venture of Cox and Andretti's, promises to quickly make its mark in the Easton real estate market, with 5 agents and numerous area listings right out of the starting gate. Shuman is no stranger to Eason or its' real estate market. After serving as the Executive Director of ProJect of Easton for nearly 10 years, Shuman launched a successful career as a realtor. "I'm absolutely dedicated to downtown Easton," Shuman stated. "My years at ProJect of Easton (a non-profit agency) showed me what a wonderful city this is. Barbra and I are entrenched downtown, and have dug in our heels for good." While Shuman brings downtown expertise to the table, Andretti joins her with corporate and hometown business experience, having run corporate transportation events for Aventis and Allen & Co., and having spent nearly five years running a family-owned business. "I've traveled the world, but I've decided to settle in the Lehigh Valley," says Andretti. "I'm committed to family values, and to the strength of hometown businesses." EXIT Fast Track Realty is the first EXIT franchise in Northampton County, and the only Easton agency where the principles/owners are both women. Eventually, there will be two EXIT Fast Track Realty offices in the Easton area. Shuman and Andretti have already enmeshed EXIT Fast Track Realty in the community, underwriting Easton's annual Scarecrow Festival, sponsoring the Children's Home of Easton's Wine Auction, scheduling a First Weekend wine and cheese open house for December 1, and getting involved in downtown's Main Street Initiative and the Easton Business Association. "We're excited to be part of this business community, and to be part of the revitalization of downtown Easton," exclaims Cox. "Easton is part of my heritage. Now, I look forward to being part of it's future." |
